Facilities: Located in a pleasant, airy, and spacious setting, the clinic offers new equipment including bikes, treadmill, multi-gym weight station, exercise balls, and balance equipment. Private treatment rooms are available for massage and hands on therapy. The atmosphere is casual and non-institutional. Convenient parking is available a few feet from the entrance.

Staff: The Anatomy Shop is owned and operated by Joan Zachow, PT. She is a 1984 graduate of Washington University with 23 years of experience in a wide variety of settings. From 1984 to 2001 she worked at West Allis Memorial Hospital including 7 years as manager of physical therapy until she returned to clinical practice in 1997. In 2001, she left and founded the Anatomy Shop and initially worked in several private practices as well as home care while growing her own private practice. Recently the business has expanded to a larger facility with the addition of massage therapy and personal training. Her goal has always been to own a private practice in a smaller community and provide excellent care in a convenient location. She has had extensive continuing education in orthopedics and has a knack for working with people and pinpointing the cause of their problems, even when they have failed previous therapy.

Insurance: Most major insurances accepted including Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Associates for Health Care (AHC), Aetna, Cigna, Health EOS, Healthcare Network (HCN), Humana Choice care, PHCS, WPS, WPPN, and United Healthcare. Out of network arrangements and cash pricing available.
